Many people email with questions about how to get more information about Iris Global’s work, how to help, how to begin planning a visit to an Iris centre, or how get started on a life of ministry among the poor in a foreign country. Iris Global UK has some books and DVDs that will give you a great head start before you plan further.

We suggest that those who are interested in visiting an Iris Global base, or attending the Harvest School, read at least Rolland’s grandfather’s Visions Beyond the Veil and Rolland and Heidi’s book, There is Always Enough.  The books Birthing the Miraculous, by Heidi Baker, Compelled by Love, by Heidi Baker with Shara Pradhan, and Voice in the Night, by Surprise Sithole are also highly recommended.

In 2014 Iris Global Films released the DVD Compelled by Love which is a powerful, inspiring and definitive portrait of Heidi Baker. Shot on the run over a period of 20 years, in 10 countries and on 4 continents in war zones, brothels, bushes, and Ivy League campuses, from Hollywood to Mozambique, this film transcends all political, religious and social barriers. Follow Rolland and Heidi Baker’s journey into the world’s darkest and most desperate places, as their pursuit of the presence of God has transformed a nation through love in action. The film chronicles the power of one life fully yielded to God and the truth that love wins.

There is also a DVD called Mama Heidi, made in 2003, which covers the early years when Rolland and Heidi Baker moved to Mozambique, and how caring for and pouring out love on the poorest of the poor, and believing God for his miraculous provision began to change a nation.
